Dr. Ammon C. Roth Jr., 91, joined his ancestors at 4:30 a.m. on the morning of Nov. 22, 2017.

He died at home in hospice care with his wife of 45 years after several months of loving care from his family and wonderful folks at Karen Ann Quinlan hospice.

He touched many hearts and minds through his years as a Professor of Psychology at Upsala College East Orange, and the Wirth Campus in Sussex. Many lifelong friends will miss his Counsel and voice and laughter and love.

His loved ones describe his kind, gentle and loving energy and his eyes that displayed the brilliance of his spirit.

Ammon served in the United Sates Army during WWII. Important to his son is that all freedom loving people remember his sacrifice in WW II during the Battle of the Bulge he received wounds ending his dream of becoming a surgeon. He saved many lives anyway.
