    Rachel Rome of Sussex Borough had a principal role in the School of the Arts at Dean College's performance of Legally Blonde in November.
    Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name, Legally Blonde tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner. Right from the start, Elle encounters negative reactions from both the establishment and the university's students. During this musical, however, she not only discovers that her knowledge of the law can help others, but she also realizes an equally important faith in herself.
    Tyler S. Ebert of Vernon earned a placement on the Dean's List at Marywood University for the Fall 2017,
    This is Tyler's second time named to the Dean's List for his outstanding academic performance in The School of Architecture. Proud parents are Ronnie and Celeste Ebert.
    Amanda Capriglione of Vernon was named to the dean's list at Stockton University for the fall 2017 semester.
    She is a philosophy major.
    Jared Sparta of Vernon, has been named to the Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Towson University.
    Full-time degree candidates are eligible for dean’s list recognition each fall and spring term provided they complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
    Nicholas Palmisano of Sussex of Vernon was awarded a bachelor of science degree in Homeland security and Emergency Management from Thomas Edison State University.
    Palmisano is a police officer with the Venron Township Police Dept.
    He is a recipient of the Arnold Fletcher Award which recognizes the university's bachelor graduates for exceptional acheivement in nontraditional learning.
