Vernon golf outing planned

VERNON — The Scott Anderson Autumn Golf Outing will be held at the Great Gorge Golf Resort on Saturday, Oct. 13, followed by a dinner at the Vernon VFW.
The outing is seeking golfers. If someone wants to participate, but not golf, they can join for a dinner at the VFW. Contact Sean Megnin at 973-903-6787 or email megins@yahoo.com.
The cost is $150 per golfer and there is room for up to 50 foursomes. The price will be $50 for just dinner.
Hole sponsors are also available for $100 per hole.
The outing will support Scott Anderson, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophich Lateral Sclerosis four years ago. it is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
