Barbara Schellhammer

Barbara Schellhammer, 77, passed away on Sunday Sept. 16, 2018. Barbara was born on March 7, 1941, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Walter and Adelaide (nee Samide) Schellhammer. Barbara has been a resident of Highland Lakes for the last 40 years.
Barbara was a graduate from Clifton High School and began working for Bell Telephone at 18 years old. She retired as an Assistant Manager and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a part time worker at the Highland Lakes Clubhouse.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Walter Schellhammer.
Barbara is survived by a niece, Laura Schellhammer, a nephew, Bret Schellhammer and a great nephew, Jayden Fisher of Kinnelon, N.J., also survived by her longtime and dear friend, Barbara Bobbie Giovan of Highland Lakes, N.J.
