Second Viking Snowshoe Invasion set for Jan. 26

The second Viking Snowshoe Ivasion is scheduled for Jan. 26 at Mountain Creek.

Participants can choose either a 5k tromp or a one-mile option for those looking for a little less foot travel. Either event is sure to keep you warm on even the chilliest of days. Spectators can gather by the outdoor fireplaces and cheer their viking on as they make their way down the mountain. Runners, walkers or those trying it for the first time.

Registration starts at 8:30am in the Biergarten and race time is 10 a.m.

The base registration fee is $30 to BYOS (bring your own shoes). There are TUBBS snowshoes available for purchase at a discounted price of $60 (plus the base registration fee). Supplies are limited.
