Jane Brown

Jane Brown, 86, of Highland Lakes, NJ passed peacefully on Feb. 20, 2019, at Newton Memorial Hospital while in Hospice Care.
Jane was born in Newark, N.J., to William and Edwyna (Baldwin) Hines in 1932. She grew up in Newark and there she met her wonderful husband Franklin Brown Jr. who pre-deceased her in 1982.
Jane was an avid Yankees fan and a very good pianist. She enjoyed Broadway shows and light operettas.
Jane was the devoted Mother to Linda Brown and her precious dog Dave, also of Highland Lakes.
Jane Lived in Little Falls, N.J., for 48 years before moving to Highland Lakes to be closer to her beloved daughter Donna, her husband Ken Wiik and her two grandsons, Andrew and William.
In addition to Linda and Donna, Jane is survived by a daughter Barbara (Roger) Baron of Palm Coast, Florida as well as grandchildren Christopher, Christina, Scott, James, Jasmine and Jason Baron, all of Florida and seven Great Grandchildren, her loving brother Richard Hines of Avon Connecticut and several Nieces and Nephews.
Cremation Services were private and a Celebration of Life will be held in June.
