Maryann (Lyness) Lamoureux

Maryann (Lyness) Lamoureux passed unexpectedly, Sept. 9, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. She was 51.

She was born on July 16, 1969, the daughter of Harry and Agness (Runzanski) Lyness.

She was the wife of Shawn Paul Lamoureux. They were married Sept. 10, 1995 in Clifton, N.J. They would have celebrated their 25th anniversary this year.

Maryann attended Clifton High School in New Jersey and went on to graduate from Bergen Community College in New Jersey, with a degree in word processing. She took her degree to Passaic General Hospital, where she was a medical transcriptionist in the cardiac wing.

Maryann’s caring nature drove her to volunteer at Passaic General Hospital, as well as St. Francis Church in Vernon, N.J. Maryann loved the church and her Catholic faith and it showed in how she treated the ones around her. Her last place of employment, Shaw’s Supermarket, she was beloved by all that knew and worked with her. In Maryann’s spare time, she loved reading books, cooking, and spending time with her family. She adored her children and husband.

Besides Maryann’s loving husband, Shawn, she is survived by her children Shawn Lamoureux Jr. of Nashua, NH.., Brittany Lamoureux of Maynard, Mass., her sisters Patricia Hurbert of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., Joann Klipple of Sussex, N.J., Kathy Quinn of Vernon, N.J., and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation was held Sept. 17 at the Davis Funeral Home, Nashua, N.H. A graveside service was held Sept. 18 at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, N.H.
