Parris (Perry) Poyneer

Parris (Perry) Poyneer, age 70 of Wantage passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018.
Born in Corning, N.Y. to the late Harold and Ruth (Johnson) Poyneer, Parris settled in Wantage in 2001. After a long and proud career at M&M Mars, Parris became an EMT and Operations Manager with MONOC and was a volunteer on the Wantage First Aid Squad. He also enjoyed playing pool, golf, and skydiving.
Predeceased by his parents and his brother Hal Poyneer, Parris is survived by his loving wife, Bobbi (Cooper) Poyneer, daughter Samantha Poyneer, son Jonathan Poyneer, stepsons Joseph McGuinness and wife Courtney and Brian McGuinness. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Andrea, Christian, Josey, Shay, and Raegan and a great-granddaughter Alaurali, as well as his sister Tura VanGalder.
A memorial visitation for Parris will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. with a memorial service taking place at 3:30 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ 07461.
