Rosemarie Hyland left this life peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, surrounded by family at her home in Lafayette, N.J. She was 58.

Daughter of George O. Cook Jr. and the late Judy Katherine (Baratto) Cook, she was born in Phillipsburg, N.J. Rosemarie worked as an administrative assistant. She had a strong love for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, and, most importantly, spending time with her husband and children.

Rosemarie is survived by her beloved husband, Mike A. Hyland; sons, Frank Black and his wife, Kristina, of Holland Township, N.J., and Michael Hyland and wife, Michelle, of Belleville, N.J.; daughter, Ashley Bardyszewski and her husband, Richard, of Hackettstown, N.J.; her father, George O. Cook Jr. of Bethlehem, Pa.; sister, Jody Dodge of Forks Township, Pa.; grandchildren, Kayle and Ryan Hyland; as well as her nieces, Lauren Vilade and husband, James, of Byram, N.J., and Kelly Barry and husband, Kevin, of Bedminster, N.J.

Visitation was held Aug. 16 at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, N.J. Funeral services were held Aug. 17 at the funeral home. Interment followed in Frankford Plains Cemetery.
