Highland Lakes. Highland Lakes celebrated National Read Across America on March 5 in the community’s clubhouse with fun activities, including games and a story hour. It is a tradition to read Dr. Seuss books in honor of his birthday, which is March 2, and all of March is dedicated to the beloved children’s author and the importance of reading.
