Advent concert comes to Newton

NEWTON-The Don Bosco Council of the Knights of Columbus, in celebration of the St. Joseph's Parish 150th Anniversary, will present an Advent concert with composer, singer and retreat master Gregory Norbet. He is the composer of Hosea, All I Ask of You, Listen, Wherever You Go and many other songs of faith that have been a significant part of contemporary Christian music for mopre than two decades. The concert will feature selections from his Peaceful Christmas Carols CD, Dona Nobis Pacem" The concert will be Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph's Community Center, Halstead Street, Newton. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $7 each by sending a check and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Tickets, Don Bosco K of C, PO Box 52, Newton, NJ 07860. Orders without a stamped, self-addressed envelope will not be processed. Tickets at the door will be $10.
