Author debuts book at local Pet Expo and Horse Show

Stanhope — Diana Tuorto of Stanhope will debut her latest children’s novel, “My Desert Sun,” at two book local signings during May. On Saturday, May 9 at 11:30 a.m., Tuorto will appear at the Northern New Jersey Pet Expo (Sussex County/NJ State Fairgrounds, Augusta) reading from her newest novel and answering visitors’ questions on writing and the charities that she supports. At noon, a book signing will follow for her three children’s horse novels, “My Desert Sun,” “Luck of the Draw,” and “Janie’s New Legs.” Tuorto’s book proceeds will benefit Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue, Return to Freedom, ReRun, Inc., and Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center.
