Band fuses many musical styles into one

HACKETTSTOWN — The eclectic acoustic trio Elastic Pyramid will appear at Arts off Main Art Gallery in Hackettstown on Friday, Feb. 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Elastic Pyramid consists of guitarist John Garrity, guitarist/vocalist Mark Haseltine and bassist Denise Hall. The band says it “warps musical boundaries, fusing rock, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and punk.” The group’s rhythm section provides the foundation for melodic guitars and signature vocals. The trio touches on politics, childhood bliss, and relationships. Tickets for the show are $7 each and can be purchased at the door, it added.
