Big Apple Comedy Club brings laughs to Newton

The Big Apple Comedy Club will continue through the Spring of 2013 and feature four of New York City’s comics.

The next segment on Nov. 23 will feature Rich Francese, Rodney Laney, Patty Rosborough and Brad Trackman.

Francese excels at stand up comedy, writing and acting. A former staff writer for Saturday Night Live and regularly performer at all the New York City comedy clubs, Francese is a nationally headlining comedian with scores of television appearances, like Comedy Central, The View and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Laney was born and raised in Paterson. In the late 90's he began his comic career performing in clubs and colleges from New York to California. He acted in and executive produced his own movie, released in 2002, “Pride & Loyalty." Most recently Laney has completed pilots for Comedy Central, MTV and A&E. He has also appeared at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

Rosborough is a New York City comedian with a long list of credits including headlining the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, BBC and Showtime. She is the winner of the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter Comedy Competition.

Trackman is a NYC comedian with universal appeal. Brad plays the best theaters in the country, has recorded two CDs and has made numerous national television appearances.

Along with the Nov. 23 performance, The Big Apple Comedy Club will be held on Jan. 18, March 22 and May 17. All shows begin at 8 p.m. and will feature four different New York comics.
