Cooking classes make a creative gift

Sparta — Amy Casey, owner of EAT! A Personal Chef Service, is offering gift certificates for cooking classes to be held in her Sparta home starting in January 2010. The classes are aimed at both seasoned home cooks and those just beginning to travel the culinary path. They are a way to learn new skills, brush up on basic techniques and share fun, informative time in the kitchen. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons, with scheduled classes in January and February on family-friendly dinners, desserts, classic Asian dishes and updated comfort food favorites.
