County college students featured in Sussex photo exhibit

NEWTON — Ten students from Sussex County Community College will have their photography on exhibit beginning Friday, April 10 at the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council gallery in Newton. The exhibit, “Eyes on Newton: Documenting an American Town,” will feature the work of adjunct professor Joe Guerriero’s “Documentary Photography” classes. The exhibit will coincide with the council’s members’ exhibit called “Ebony and Ivory.” Participating students are: Melissa Brown, Michael DeMauro, Victoria Ellman, Jamie Lospinoso, Christina Murphy, Luke Nilsson, Sean Robinson, James Smolka, Roland Vega and Lukas VonderLinden. A reception will be held at the gallery on April 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will run through May 2.
