Dance Expression dancers succeed at competition

HAMBURG — Dance Expression dance arts of Hamburg performed for Legacy Dance Championships and dancers were awarded Platinum Awards, Overall High Scores and Miss Senior Legacy.
Dance Expression Dance Arts was awarded the ADCC (Association of Dance Conventions and Competitions) Studio of Excellence Award, given to the outstanding studio that represents excellence, integrity, and opportunity in the dance industry.
"Miss" Senior Legacy, Platinum Award, 2nd overall High Score for Advanced Senior Solos awarded to Jillian Henderson of Sparta for her Modern Solo "Schindlers List" and performance throughout the weekend.
Platinum Award, 1st overall High Score for Advanced Senior Small Group and Choreography Award, and Excellence in Modern Award to "World to Come", Platinum Award, first overall High Score for Advanced Teen Production and Excellence in Jazz Award to "Saturday Night Fever", Platinum Award, 1st Overall High Score for Advanced Teen Line and Excellence in Musical Theatre to "Moulin Rouge", Platinum Award, 1st Overall High Score for Novice Petite Large Group to "Gettin Jiggy with It", 1st Overall High Score for Novice Petite Small Group to "Colors of the Wind", 2nd Overall High Score for Novice Petite Large Group to "Ay Caramba", Platinum Award and 2nd Overall High Score for Advanced Senior Large Group and Excellence in Ballet to "Le Valse" and 2nd OVERALL High Score Intermediate Teen Large Group to "What the World Needs Now".
ALL Platinum Awards plus Excellence in Hip Hop Awards to Novice 3-8 yrs "Wannabe" and Junior Novice "Formation" and Excellence in Jazz to Junior Novice Group "Turn the Beat Around". 1st Overall High Score to 8 under Novice Large Group to "Wannabe", 1st OVERALL High Score for Junior Novice Line to "Formation", 1st Overall High Score for Teen Novice Solo to Jade Hendrickson for "Moving Lightly", 1ST OVERALL High Score for Novice Petite Duet/Trio to Erin King and Julia Paton for "Fabulous Places", 2nd OVERALL High Score for 8 and under Novice Small Group to "Grant Avenue" and 2nd OVERALL High Score for Novice Junior Duet/Trio to Chelsey Epright and Leah Reinstein for "Dr. Jazz".
