Byram Township — There will be no tricks, just treats, when the garage rock band, The Doughboys, takes the stage at Wild West City on Halloween night, Sat. Oct. 31, at 9 p.m. Attendees are invited to come in costume and win prizes. A popular central Jersey band, The Doughboys bring to the stage covers from bands such as the Rolling Stones, the Yardbirds and the Animals, and also produce original music that has the sound of the rock tunes of the 60s and 70s. Members of the band are Myke Scavone, singer, Gar Francis, guitarist, Richard X. Heyman, drummer, and Mike Caruso, bassist. The band is on the verge of releasing its newest CD, “Act Your Rage.” They have twice performed at Bethlehem Musikfest in Pennsylvania and recently at Fort Dix for a concert for returning troops. Tickets for the show are $10 each and can be purchased at the door. For directions visit www.wildwestcity.com. Wild West City is located in Byram Township, near Netcong, and minutes from Routes 206, 46 and 80.
