Dr. Smith headlines

BYRAM TOWNSHIP — Dr. Smith Experience, a local group and house band for Mohawk House, in Sparta, has been slated as the headline entertainment for Byram Day, on Saturday, Sept. 26. The group will perform from 5 to 7 p.m. at C.O. Johnson Park on Roseville Road, capping a day of carnival rides, games, contests, classic car show, food, exhibits, D.J. and other live, local entertainment. The band plays a mix of music and is led by long-time Sparta resident, Rob Ambrosino. Byram Day kicks off at noon, preceded by a 5K run at 8:30 a.m. Festivities continue non-stop throughout the day, ending at 7 p.m. with the Dr. Smith Experience. Concert-goers are urged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
