Ringwood - Meet naturalists from the Weis Ecology Center and Tenafly Nature Center to begin a full day of Bald Eagle watching on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The search will take us up the Hudson and across the New York border, with possible stops at Bear Mountain, Croton Point, and George’s Point. Dress for the weather and bring your best optics. Past years’ highlights include eagles of varying ages, northern harriers, peregrine falcons, and a snowy owl. This program meets off-site; directions will be sent upon registration. The cost of the eagle watching on the Hudson River program is $15 per person for members and $19 per person for non-members. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. For more information or to register, contact the Weis Ecology Center office at 973-835-2160 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
