Golf outing for a cause

NEWTON n Join Main Street Newton Inc. and hit the links for a cause n to raise funds to further enhance and beautify Spring Street, the growing commercial hub of the county seat. Hosted by JC’s Grill House, the First Main Street Newton Golf Outing will be held Wednesday, May 20 at Bear Brook Golf Club. Sponsored by Embarq, Newton Memorial Hospital, Kelly & Ward, LLC and Albino, Ullman & Laemers, LLC, the First Main Street Newton Golf Outing will feature a silent auction with items from local merchants and dinner for attendees and supporters. Despite the popularity of the event, several sponsorship opportunities still exist, both large and small. These opportunities include, purchasing space in an Ad Journal which will be distributed to attendees, donating items to the silent auction or contacting Main Street Newton about corporate sponsorships to further support this 501c-3 organization. To participate in the event, the cost is $140 per golfer or $525 for groups of four, which will also receive a free tee sign ad valued at $100.
