Sussex — The Sussex County High Point Harmonizers barbershop chorus recently presented its Christmas Carol and sing-a-long program at the Barn Hill Care Center in Newton, under the direction of June Noble. The program included several musical selections for the Christmas and Hanukkah holidays, as well as some old-fashioned favorites. Over the holiday season the Harmonizers also entertained at the Homestead Nursing Home in Branchville and Bristol Glen in Newton. The Harmonizers are now preparing for their Singing Valentines presentations to be offered to the public in February. For a fee, a barbershop quartet will present a personalized serenade to a special valentine of the purchaser’s choice. More information about this sweet gift will be made available to the public later this month. The group meets at the Sussex Elks Lodge every Wednesday at 8 p.m. For more information call Fred Spages at 973-383-0731.
