Comedian, writer, actor and host of his upcoming weekly comedy show, Hasan Minhaj, will embark on a national tour, Hasan Minhaj: Before The Storm, stopping in major cities around the U.S. and Canada including an exclusive area performance at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Aug. 18.
Tickets for the Morristown show are on sale this Friday, July 13th at 10AM and are available via 973-539-8008, online at www.mayoarts.org, or at the Mayo Performing Arts Center Box Office.
Hasan Minhaj: Before The Storm is the follow up to the sold-out national tour of his one man show Homecoming King. This brand new show tackles the dizzying political climate with innovative media, incisive comedy, and his signature storytelling style.
This fall Hasan will become the first Indian-American to host his own weekly comedy show for Netflix that has been picked up for an unprecedented 32-episode order. Each week on the series, he will bring his unique comedic voice to investigate the larger trends shaping our fragmented world. He will remain a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" through the summer. He joined the show in November 2014 as Jon Stewart's last hire.
Earlier this year, Hasan won a 2018 Peabody Award for his critically acclaimed comedy special Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King that is available to stream on Netflix. In 2017, he had the prestigious honor of hosting the annual White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C.
