The Vernon VFW will be the place to be on Nov. 23 for a great rock band, dancing, dinner, and silent auction sponsored by the Vernon Township Historical Society. Tickets for the Four Man Trio are priced low at $40 per person and now on sale. Reserve early because seating is limited at the VFW Post 8441, located at 313 Route 94, Vernon. The event starts at 6 p.m. and consists of a chicken dinner and potatoes dinner, a pasta dish for vegetarians, salad, bread and butter, dessert, coffee and tea. There will also be free door prizes and a 505/50 raffle. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Dress is casual.
