Historical society will host presentation on Lincoln

Sparta — “The Lincoln Family In The White House: 1861-1865” will be the subject of historian Glenn W. LeBoeuf’s presentation at the next Sparta Historical Society meeting on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. LeBoeuf has a degree in history and is a member of the Company of Military Historians, the Lincoln Group of New York and the Abraham Lincoln Association. His speaking career extends over 27 years. The society meets in the lower level of the Sparta Ambulance Squad building at 14 Sparta Avenue. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.
