Holiday art classes offer fun for kids

Stanhope - Art Magic is hosting its seventh annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Craft Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children ages six and up will create a multi media stocking/ornament holder for a mantle, table or shelf. The $66 fee covers class and supplies. There are also three week holiday workshops for school aged children. Kids will create clay and mosaic tile plaques, hand-dyed silk scarves, “sculpy” holiday ornaments and more. Classes are after school. For grades K-4: Tuesdays, Dec. 1, 8 and 15 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; for grades 7-12, Thursdays, Dec. 3, 10, 17 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; for grades 4-6: Fridays, Dec. 4 ,11, 18 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuition is $74.25 for the three week session including supplies.
