Home Grown Radio celebrates 5 years

    BYRAM TOWNSHIP - “HomeGrownRadioNj,” which was established five years ago on Oct. 30, will be celebrating its fifth anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 24 with a benefit concert with a “blues flavor” at the Golden Nugget Saloon at Wild West City in Byram Township. The line- up includes blues favorites Billy Hector and Johnny Charles as well as the Quimby Mountain Band, Baked Fresh Daily, Jimbeau and the Retrocasters and Paul Wilder. “HomeGrownRadioNj” has been a steadfast champion for the independent artist throughout New Jersey and beyond, said officials. “Its continuing commitment to spreading the music so few get to hear has earned them a spot in the hearts and minds of musicians throughout the area,” officials said. The music begins at 2 p.m. and continues throughout the day until 10 p.m. Tickets are $15, and include admission to Wild West City, and can be purchased at the door.
