Indian-American music concert at church

Newton — The Taalsadhana School of Classical Indian music will sponsor a Fusion Concert of Indian and American music at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Christ Episcopal Church. The concert features musicians from India and the United States in a cross-cultural expression of music. The musicians are Aditya Narayan Banerjee (tabla), Parthasarathi Chatterjee (sitar), Pranab Kumar Biswas (vocals), Joe Battaglia (guitar) and Leo LaBarge (drums). Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $50 for reserved seating for patrons and free to children 12 and under. Refreshments and a reception will follow.
