Internet radio brings you the Booglerizers (and other festival entertainment)
HARMONY TOWNSHIP Swamapelica, the Booglerizers, Hey Tiger, Kate & Paul and others will entertain when the non-profit Frelinghuysen Township-based local internet station HomeGrownRadioNJ.org rejoins the festival scene with a day of music, food and shopping at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Harmony Township on Saturday Sept. 5, starting at noon and continuing through until 9 p.m. Headlining the main stage is Swampadelica. Other acts include Boris Garcia, the acoustic blues ragtime sounds of The Booglerizers, Hoboken based Hey Tiger, the Catholic Girls, HGRNJ regulars Kate & Paul of Hackettstown, and the Complete Unknowns. Patrons can also enjoy performances on the acoustic stage, food, drink and shopping. For almost five years HGRNJ has been a voice in the music community, giving independent artists a chance to be heard across the airwaves alongside music royalty, officials said. Since its inception the station has grown in size within the HGRNJ family and across the web with listeners ranging from California to Finland to India. With over 40 volunteer DJs and over a dozen prerecorded shows, the station boasts a free form status. The Warren County Fairgrounds are located on Route 519 in Harmony Township. Event is rain or shine. Tickets are $20 for adults, children 12 and under free. For more about the festival and HomeGrownRadioNJ go to www.homegrownradionj.org.
