Jefferson planning adult aerobics classes
LAKE HOPATCONG The Jefferson Township Recreation Department will begin a high energy, low-impact aerobics/cardio program that will run for 10 weeks. Sessions are expected to be held on consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting Sept. 22. Pending facilities use approval, the location for this new program is expected to be the Jefferson Township Middle School Cafeteria, 1010 Weldon Rd. in Oak Ridge. Taught by a certified aerobics instructor, the classes will consist of cardiovascular exercise, weight-training, all-over fitness, and muscle toning and are suitable for beginners as well as continuing students. Fee is $35 and a minimum of 15 people are needed for the program. All participants are asked to bring a bottle of water, hand weights and a mat or large towel.
