    Franklin — The Little Community Center has scheduled the following activities in January: Family Movie Night, featuring “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” on Friday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m. Cost: $5 per family. Refreshments included. Bring a mat/blanket to sit on. Dance (grades 5-8) on Saturday, Jan. 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost: $5 for Franklin/Hardyston residents; $10 for non-residents. Refreshments available for purchase. After School at the Movies, featuring “Night at the Museum - Battle of the Smithsonian,” on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 3:45 p.m. Cost: $2. Refreshments included. Bring a mat/blanket to sit on. Senior Movie Bunch, featuring “Julie & Julia,” on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. Cost: $1. Light lunch served (rescheduled holiday lunch). Kiddy Kraft on Monday, Jan. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. Crafts, snack and story. Cost: $3 for Franklin/Hardyston residents; $5, non-residents. Senior Exercise Group, every Monday and Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m. Cost: $2. Special needs welcom. Bridge Club, every Thursday, from noon to 3 p.m. Fun open play. Cost: $1. Refreshments included. Book Club, 4th Tuesday every month, from 10 a.m. to noon. Happy Walkers Group, Monday through Friday, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the gym. Strollers welcome. Men’s Open Basketball, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Hardyston School gym. During the winter months, note: If Franklin and Hardyston Schools are closed, scheduled programs are cancelled. The center may still be open for use by sport or other groups. Call ahead to confirm.
