On Saturday, Feb. 18,, Cornerstone Playhouse presents A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters.
This Broadway hit and Pulitzer Prize nominated play promises to be exhilarating and funny. A.R. Gurney's Love Letters is an enticing play that tells the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd, III, and Melissa Gardner, two affluent East Coasters who meet in the second grade and communicate through letters and postcards over more than 50 years. The story carries the characters through grade school, college and middle age, marriage and divorce, dreams and disappointments, success and failure.
It is ultimately the tale of unrequited love between two soul mates. This two-character play stars Jim Berkheiser of Vernon and Dianne Pollett of Middleville. Anne Wheeler of Sparta is directing the classic.
