Meet ‘Spaghetti Man' and ‘Boss A Da Sauce' at ‘Pastathon'

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church’s “Pastathon” will be at Kittatiny Valley State Park on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. The church’s outreach committee has set a goal to collect enough spaghetti to reach from one end of New Jersey to the other or 166 miles of spaghetti. Every mile requires nine boxes to reach its goal. Boxes of spaghetti or a money donation can be dropped off at Burke’s Wine & Liquor Store at 6 Sparta Avenue or Sparta Books at 41 Theatre Center both in Sparta or at the park on Sept. 27. A Hike-a-, Bike-a- or a Wheel-a-thon will also take place and everyone can have their photo with “Spaghetti Man” and “Boss a Da Sauce.” The event will end at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Sparta with a free Italian dinner.
