Miss Vernon contest

Vernon Vernon Kiwanis will hold its annual Miss Vernon contest on Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m,, following the Little Prince and Princess pageant. The contest, open to Vernon girls between the ages of 17 and 21, will take place in the Vernon Township High School auditorium. The crowned Miss Vernon must be present for the entire day of Earthfest on Sunday, April 26 and vie for the Queen of the Fair on Saturday, Aug. 1. Applications are available at the Vernon Township High School guidance department and The Nordic House, Route 94.
