Open house choral rehearsal

Vernon — The Community Choral Society will start its spring season with rehearsals, beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The first rehearsal is an open house, where all are welcome to come and see if the choir is something they would enjoy. New members are sought in all sections. The choir provides a music fee scholarship for high school seniors, who may be looking for an extra-curricular vocal credit for their college resumes, for the season. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening, except in cases of bad weather, at 7:45 p.m., at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, on Route 94 in Vernon, across from the Highlands Bank.
