    West Milford Library celebrates 40-year anniversary West Milford — Nearly half a million young men and women converged on Max Yasgur’s 600-acre dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, N.Y. from Aug. 15-18, 1969 for three days of peace and music at the historic Woodstock Music & Art Fair, informally, Woodstock or the Woodstock Festival. The West Milford Township Library commemorates the 40-year anniversary of this event with a display of photos, posters, ticket stubs and other artifacts for the month of August.
