Peters Valley Holiday Market is open through January
Layton, NJ. The in-person experience of buying hand-made artisanal gifts returns to the school of craft.
The annual Holiday Market at Peters Valley School of Craft is back and runs through the end of January. Shoppers will find hand-made work by more than 100 local and national craftspeople, including pottery, jewelry, glass, wood, wearable fiber arts, photography, toys, books, and more.
Located at 19 Kuhn Road in Layton, N.J., the gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All items in the Holiday Market are also available for purchase online.
“The hand-made holiday gifts we feature in the market are always incredibly unique and beautiful,” said executive director Kristin Muller. “This year, it feels even more meaningful that we can present an in-person experience to connect people with one-of-a-kind gifts after such a challenging time for everyone.”
The new gallery director, Erika Hewston, said this year’s Holiday Market is filled with some really special pieces of hand-made art. “Anyone stepping into the gallery or shopping online will see right away how meaningful it can be to choose gifts made by artisans,” she said. “Buying from Peters Valley supports working artists and our educational programs at the School of Craft – so every purchase has a ripple effect too.”
