Ringwood Garden Club members make things beautiful inside and out. Recently, led by designer Janice Ramsey, they decorated the dining room of the Skylands Manor at the Holiday Open House. Ramsay’s main theme was the swan, which was a favorite motif of Clarence MacKenzie Lewis, who built the manor house. Echoed throughout the room in photographs on the walls and tables, the swan was also the central motif in decorating the four Christmas trees in the room. Club members not only participated in decorating the Manor House for the holidays, they also volunteered in various capacities during the event. Pictured here, from left to right, are Ellen Hetzel, Terry Valenta, Sonja Vieth, Gerry Shuman, Mary Ahearn, Marsha Speed, Miko No, Ceazonia Dyer, Deb Manfredonio, Pat Grossi and Joan Miller standing in front of the leaded glass window in the dining room of Skylands Manor. Manfredonio was chairperson for the four-day event which drew thousands of visitors.
