Soul Groove on stage in free concert

Lake Hopatcong — The band Soul Groove will perform on Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m., at the Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex This will be the last of the six free summer concerts offered this season by the Jefferson Arts Gazebo Committee. Soul Groove is a five-piece female-fronted R&B band that likes to keep an audience dancing and singing even when the show is over. The band was co-founded in 2003 by Jefferson resident Keith Theall and Mike Muro. Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort. Non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners and snacks are permitted on the grounds. In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will have to be canceled.
