Squid Jiggers to play at Vernon church

VERNON — The Squid Jiggers will play at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Friday, July 10, at 7:30 p.m.
This Maine-based Folk duo took their name from the old song "Squid Jigging Ground", which is a musical depiction of fishing for squid in the waters off Newfoundland. They combine their talents on guitar, bodran, and tin whistle to lay down a thunderous musical base for their robust vocal harmonies.
