“The Philadelphia Story” to benefit the Cancer Center at Chilton

    Pompton Plains n The Chilton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a fund raising event on Thursday, March 26, at the Barn Theatre in Montville. Proceeds from the romantic comedy, The Philadelphia Story, will benefit the hospital’s Cancer Center as well as other hospital programs that provide services to its community. Tickets are $25 each and include light refreshments. They can be purchased through the Chilton Auxiliary by calling (973) 831-5345. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and curtain time is 8 p.m. This event is open seating. By maintaining ongoing fundraising programs, the Auxiliary of Chilton Memorial Hospital has donated more than $4 million to the hospital for the purchase of major medical equipment and the support of health care programs. The group was organized five years before the hospital was built. The Auxiliary also operates the Hospital Gift Gallery. Fund raising activities include a biannual fashion show, the annual Tree of Lights, the Brick Walk, and support of the biannual Homes of Kinnelon house tour.
