‘Ultimate Variety Show' comes to SCCC April 7

    SUSSEX — Chris Chelko’s and Michael DuBois’ magic, juggling, telepathy, circus and dangerous sideshow stunts will come to Sussex County Community College (SCCC) on Tuesday, April 7 at 10:50 a.m. in the Student Center Theater, Building D. Known on stage as “Chris & Mike,” the duo has appeared with their act on such television shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and MTV. “Chris & Mike” have been learning magic and juggling since they were kids growing up on different sides of the United States. Having met at Pennsylvania State University, Chelko was president of the Penn State Performing Magicians Club and DuBois was president of the Penn State Juggling Club, the two teamed up with Australian friend Bob Yunken to develop what would be the early start of the “Ultimate Variety Show.” “Chris & Mike, the Ultimate Variety Show” has performed at more than 300 colleges and universities and have been featured in magazines such as “Campus Activities Magazine” and “Young Money,” as well as entertaining millions of subscribers on Sirius Satellite Radio.
