Valentine dinner will benefit animal shelter
Sparta Father John’s Animal House, in Lafayette, will be holding its first Valentine’s Beefsteak Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Pope John High School, in Sparta. The fundraiser will raise money to help defray the costs of running the shelter and to provide medical care and food for the dogs and cats being housed at the shelter. The dinner is being catered by Brownstone Catering of Paterson. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with DJ Sebastian Monte providing the music for the evening. Admission is $50 per person and includes beer, wine and soda. There will also be a 50/50, small tricky tray and auction. The 50/50 tickets are $50 each and the winning ticket will be pulled at the dinner. Only 200 tickets will be sold. The winner does not have to be present.
