Warwick open studio tours continue

Warwick — The Warwick Open Studio Tour will continue Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10. Among the many studios open will be Slippery Acres Studio, located at 206 Cascade Road in Warwick, featuring the works of Shelley Meisler, a jeweler and painter, and Todd Vogel, a writer and photographer. Meisler’s work includes fine silver and gemstone necklaces and earrings as well as original paintings and giclées (fine print reproductions). Vogel, who has been working on his meditation booklets for over a year, will be showing them in a new, larger format, and for the first time, will show videos based on the booklets. Their studio, nestled in the woods and overlooking a perennial garden, will be open on Sunday only, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Just minutes from Slippery Acres Studio is Gourd Art by Claudia, located at 52 Black Rock Road in Warwick. Claudia Pflueger’s newest work includes her Brazilian Morpho butterfly collection. She has also incorporated the natural beauty of local ferns in her work.
