Weis offering bird study merit badge program

    Ringwood — Birds are some of the most intriguing and beautiful animals that inhabit New Jersey. It is no wonder that bird watching is the quickest growing hobby in the state, or that most discoveries are made by amateur naturalists. Discover the birds of the Highlands, and earn your merit badge all in one afternoon at the Weis Ecology Center, Sunday, June 7 starting at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. To register for any Weis program, mail your name, address, phone number, the number of participants and payment to: New Jersey Audubon Society Weis Ecology Center, 150 Snake Den Road, Ringwood, NJ 07456.
