West Milford Players announce auditions for Neil Simon's ‘London Suite'

    West Milford - Auditions for the next production of the West Milford Players, Neil Simon’s “London Suite,” are scheduled for February at the Hillcrest Community Center. London Suite is a comedy in the style of “Plaza” and “California Suites,” requiring six men and six women of various ages. One day at an English Hotel, four different stories are told. Diana is in London to promote her television series and her ex-husband Sidney shows up to ask her for money. Mark and Annie come to London for the Wimbledon tennis matches, but they lose their tickets and Mark’s back goes out. Debra is on her honeymoon with Paul, but Paul is missing and Debra lies to everyone she meets as to Paul’s whereabouts. Sharon and Lauren are on a ‘shop ‘til you drop’ trip when Sharon meets Dennis, an older man who seems to be interested in her. The play will be directed by Rich Ahrens and June Downey at the Hillcrest Community Center. Audition dates are Monday, Feb. 23, and Friday, Feb. 27, from 7 to 10 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 28, from 1 to 5 p.m. Callbacks are on Sunday March 1 by request only from 1 to 5 p.m. Actors auditioning should come prepared to read from the script. A resume is suggested but paperwork will be available at the community center to be completed if a resume is not available.
