Come as your favorite western legend and get $5 off BYRAM — Children (and adults) can truly play the part of their favorite western legend the weekend of June 6-7. Participants in this unique special event will get a $5 discount on their admission for the day. Visitors are encouraged to dress up like a western legend, good or bad, real or fiction! “It’s another way for folks to really get into the old west,” said owner Mike Stabile. Among the western legends folks could become for the day are; Jesse James, Billy the Kid, the Lone Ranger, Annie Oakley, Wild Bill Cody, etc. Every day there are 22 live action shows, stagecoach, pony, and train rides, and gold digs, as well as a miniature golf course, farm animals and other activities. Visitors are invited to bring a picnic lunch or purchase food. Visitors can mingle throughout the day with the Wild West City cowboys, whether or not they “dress-up” for the part. Wild West City is open every weekend through mid-June and then daily beginning on June 20, with special attractions every weekend. On Father’s Day, June 21, dads are admitted free with a paying child. On July 11, Wild West City is hosting another “Dress-Up Day,” this one focusing on Abe Lincoln.
