HARDYSTON — On Saturday, Cava Winery & Vineyard gave adults from around the area to a taste of their fine wines and the spirit of Halloween.

While the kiddies were trick-or-treating through local neighborhoods, the area’s adults had the chance to have their own celebration and party. The afternoon included a costume contest won by Vernon resident Barbara Hellwig, who came as The Queen of Hearts.
