Workshop will focus on diversity

Newton — Colleen Rosica, child care specialist at NORWESCAP Child & Family Resource Services, will lead a workshop on diversity, on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. This workshop will help early childhood professionals meet the needs of a diverse classroom. Through personal reflection on one’s culture and the philosophy of the care setting, workshop participants will gain insight on strategies to providing culturally responsive child care services. The training will be held at the NORWESCAP Child & Family Resource Services office located on Halsey Road in Newton. A registration fee of $5 is requested. To register call 973-383-3461.
