The Vernon Township Woman’s Club recently collected 68 gowns and dresses, 12 pairs of shoes, formal-wear jewelry and one sweater shawl.
The formal wear was donated to Project Self-Sufficiency in Newton for its Sister-to-Sister Prom Shop, which offered the clothes to the public at no charge in March and early April.
